Sweet Beats: The Science of Music

Step into the world of waves, scales, and beats with a cosmologist, a neuroscientist, and a computer engineer, each of whom has a unique understanding of music. They will explain the building blocks of music and examine how our brains comprehend music. Smartphone apps will illustrate these building blocks in action as during a series of jazz improvisations.
