Break out your goggles and lab coats and go behind the scenes of an actual science lab! Combine substances and create a chemical reaction, and learn how to make a zinc-oxide ointment - commonly used to prevent diaper rash and sunburns. Discover how pharmacists turn new chemicals into medication that be used safely and effectively by patients.

Note: Event takes place in a working laboratory. All attendees must be at least 13 years of age and be accompanied by a chaperone. Chaperones do not need a ticket. Proper attire required, no open toe shoes, shorts, or long hair or clothing that cannot be tied back. Safety glasses and lab coats will be provided.

Restrictions

Must be High School aged to work in laboratory with adult supervision
